Morgan Stanley (Printing / Labelling) The work we did on this deal for Morgan Stanley is a perfect example of how our tech-enabled digital and data diligence supports clients to determine the true value of an asset. By incorporating market data, sales data, internal web analytics alongside our outside-in data and usage data from the company’s proprietary platform, we were able to deliver an incredibly precise, data-led commercial intelligence. Because we have access to over 1,500 unique data sets we were able to size the granular markets for the company’s consumers and business customers by product category with unique competitor sets, for example stickers vs labels. We carried out an assessment of the digital e-commerce platform to benchmark it against both competitor platforms and broader e-commerce platforms. An assessment of the marketing and acquisition activity helped to identify operational efficiencies. We stress tested the company’s proposed development roadmap through trend mapping, a key activity in determining interest in the asset and potential growth opportunities. By looking at competitors and like-for-like products we’re also able to identify areas ripe for improvement. Most importantly, as the customer is always right, we triangulated customer feedback on multiple sources to deliver robust opinions on key areas of the offering. Our user experience and engagement analysis looked at technology performance, user behavior, audience demographics and marketing channels to gain a detailed understanding of the customers’ digital journey.
