Joyce and Raissa de Haas are the founders of award-winning premium mixer and tonic brand Double Dutch. Born as a response to the lack of interesting mixers and tonics on the market, Dutch twins Joyce and Raissa have a passion for pairing unexpected flavours and chose to launch Double Dutch with their Cucumber & Watermelon, as well as Pomegranate & Basil mixers before launching the classic flavors. Having entered a joint masters in London, they went on to win the Richard Branson Food Entrepreneur Award, receiving funding to begin their first production run. From here, Double Dutch has gone from strength to strength, and is now available in over 45 countries, as well as listed in major UK retailers and stocked across 5,000 on trade venues. Having been named the exclusive tonic listing for Soho House globally, they are revolutionizing the premium mixer market with their range of flavorful products designed to mix with all spirits – not just gin. Joyce and Raissa have disrupted the market by proving that flavor doesn’t need to coincide with high sugar, and proudly use natural ingredients to ensure their products are low in sugar and calories. Double Dutch saw 90% of growth from 2020 to 2021 and is set to continue its global expansion, launching across Singapore, Jordan, Ukraine, Brazil, and the USA last year alone.
