Black Tap's Julie Mulligan

Julie Mulligan, Co-Owner & Co-CEO of the expanding Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer Global Restaurant Group, has been leading the growth of this brand from its humble origins as a 15-seat burger and shake joint in Soho to an iconic international brand with 20 locations across the world, and home home to 5x NYC Burger Bash winners and the world renown CRAZYSHAKE. While overseeing the day-to-day operations and growth of the brand, Julie is also the driving force behind Black Tap’s signature 80s/90s hip-hop and pop inspired design that remains core to the brand, yet unique to each location. One of the hallmarks of this is the custom murals in each restaurant, featuring artwork inspired by the birthplace of the brand, bringing a taste of New York City to each location and embodying Julie's creative vision. In her expansive role, she has collaborated with investors, partners, agencies, and contractors across states, countries, and cultures to ensure the continued integrity of the Black Tap brand as it continues to delight guests with each and every location.
