Karina Sidhu

Karina Sidhu, the Chief Technology and Digital Officer (CTDO) of IMCO, has made significant contributions in the field of technology. One of her notable achievements is the establishment of IMCO's Women in Technology employee resource group, to empower and support women in the technology industry. Karina’s visionary leadership led to her spearheading the Emerging Tech team at IMCO, which is responsible for creating innovative frameworks for emerging technologies, including generative AI. Karina developed a GenAI strategy, engaged with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize GenAI use cases, and selected Proof of Concept (POC) solutions for execution. Furthermore, Karina and the IMCO IT & Data Team have received the prestigious CIO Awards Canada for two consecutive years, showcasing her ability to think outside the box and introduce innovative technology solutions. Karina’s work has been characterized by her commitment to fostering diversity and empowerment in the technology industry, her leadership in driving emerging technology initiatives, and her innovative thinking that has earned her recognition and awards. Her contributions have undoubtedly positioned IMCO as a leading organization in their industry.
