Under Elmi’s leadership, Cymbiotika generated $41 million in revenue, showing 262% YOY growth and expanding to 70 employees while growing distribution in Canada and the U.S. and planning to launch into a new international market, the UAE. Wholesale operations increased dramatically, with a 211% increase in revenue year-over-year. They are now found in over 300 brick-and-mortar stores worldwide. Elmi is credited with the success of the company’s transformation of its call center from an offshore facility to 100% in-house in San Diego and relocating Cymbiotika’s fulfillment from Boise, Idaho, to a state-of-the-art facility, also in San Diego. She was also instrumental in the recent move of the company headquarters and the move to a brand new 10,000-square-foot fulfillment center. Elmi led Cymbiotika’s website design team and created the world’s first “Custom Subscription Bundle” platform. Additionally, Elmi has led Cymbiotika in becoming one of the first companies to launch a rewards program, Arise, based upon Web 3 principles with blockchain technologies and NFTs. Arise launched on January 16, 2023, and is already described as a groundbreaking technology.
